BA (Hons) Program at SBUP is a Semester-based Four Years full-time undergraduate program with Choice Based Credit System
The program offers Core Specialization right from the first year
Students will also be offered core specific choice-based subjects in the form of various electives- Languages, Co-Curricular, AEC, VES, SEC, Internship and Project, etc

Students should indicate their preference at the time of Admission Process
A candidate from any stream, should have passed 12th Std. Examination (H.S.C.10+2) with minimum 50% of marks and English as a passing subject
OR
Three Years Diploma Course from Board of Technical Education, conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent, after S.S.C. i.e. 10th Standard
OR
Two Years Diploma Course in Pharmacy from Board of Technical Education, conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent, after H.S.C. i.e. 12th Standard
OR
Completed MCVC program. (Minimum Competency Vocational Courses)

BA (Hons) at SBUP is inspired by NEP 2020 & adheres to UGC guidelines
The Programs and Courses are approved by the Board of Studies and Academic Council
The University is appearing for NAAC and soon to be accredited
As per NEP 2020, the BA (Hons) at SBUP has spanned over 4 years
Students successfully completing 3rd year will receive BA with major specialization
For 4th year, students can choose their track between- Internship & Research
After successful completion of 4 th year, students will receive BA (Hons) or BA (Hons) with Research respectively, based on their chosen track

After successfully submitting the application online, eligible candidates will be informed the schedule of Brief Interactive Session & Personal Interview (PI)
Brief Interactive Session - Student will have an opportunity to interact with a Senior Faculty/Director to clear their doubts regarding the program
Personal Interview – Experts will interview and assess the candidates on various parameters including the suitability of the candidates for offered specializations
Marks obtained in HSC/qualifying exam: 50% & Personal Interview: 50%
Finale merit list for admission will be prepared accordingly and selected candidates will be notified formally over registered email
